For many years, George and Lori Field poured their hearts into making Black Meadow Landing the welcoming place it is today. Their dedication built a community rooted in friendship, laughter, and shared experiences.
When it came time to start their next chapter, George and Lori entrusted Black Meadow Landing to new caretakers who share their same vision for community and hospitality. Their message to you:

About Sky Resorts Our New Chapter
Black Meadow Landing is now proudly owned and operated by Sky Resorts, a family-run business with deep roots in the RV and resort industry. Our story began in the early 1970s, when Tim Manthei—alongside his brothers and cousins—built one of the first manufactured home and RV parks outside Palm Springs, California.
Today, the next generation of the Manthei family continues that legacy. We’re passionate about preserving the charm and community spirit that makes Black Meadow Landing so special, while also enhancing the experience for guests with modern conveniences and a focus on hospitality.
Our promise is simple: to keep Black Meadow Landing a place where families can relax, reconnect, and create memories that last a lifetime.
